About this role
You will join a remote-first delivery team shipping production software for clients who need reliability, not demos. Expect ownership of features from UI through API and data, weekly demos, thoughtful code review, and handovers clients can operate without us. We favour clear written English, scoped increments, and engineers who care how the product feels in the real world.
What success looks like
- Ships a scoped increment to production within your first few weeks
- Leaves tests, docs, and notes another engineer can extend without you
- Raises performance, accessibility, or DX without being asked
- Communicates blockers early in writing across time zones
Responsibilities
- Design and ship features across frontend and APIs with clear ownership
- Raise the bar on accessibility, performance, tests, and developer experience
- Partner with design and product on scoped weekly increments
- Mentor through thoughtful reviews and pairing
- Leave docs and handover notes clients can operate without us
Requirements
- Several years building production web applications
- Strong TypeScript, React, and Node.js experience
- Comfort with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Clear written English for async collaboration across time zones
Nice to have
- Next.js App Router experience
- Postgres and API design instincts
- Arabic reading/writing is a plus
